A rapidly growing company of engineers, inventors, and aviators that is changing the way the world flies.

Our Story
Tamarack Aerospace Group was founded with one mission in mind: to provide real-world step change advancement in aerospace efficiency technology.

Our story starts with Tamarack founder Nick Guida, a seasoned professional in the field of aerospace and spirited entrepreneur. Guida was convinced of a way to improve aircraft efficiency and sustainability without aerodynamic compromise. In 2009, he conceptualized the idea that led to the creation of ATLAS load alleviation technology and Active Winglets.

The company grew through a six year development and certification process that included hundreds of hours of test flights on numerous testbed aircraft. In 2015, the aviation world changed when the first set of Active Winglets was installed on a Citation CJ1.

Tamarack has now expanded from our headquarters in Sandpoint, Idaho, and now operates in additional transformation centers in Aiken, South Carolina and Oxford, UK. Today, we hold more than 30 patents as we continue to pioneer new aviation innovations, as well as continually enhance our current products, supporting our growing international fleet of aircraft.

Our Leadership Team
Tamarack was born from a passion to make flying better and bring science-driven innovation to aircraft owners around the world. Our team makes us what we are today - passionate, inquisitive experts in our field. From pilots to engineers, to our network of suppliers across the US, we are on a mission to make aviation more efficient and sustainable.

Our Services
We design, build, and install Active Winglets at our international Transformation Centers. With fleet training and support infrastructure through a network of Service Centers, we’re ready to help your team achieve maximum flight efficiency.
