Performs monthly accounting close and settlement activities for wholesale and retail power, natural gas, and fuel transactions. Prepares journal entries, reconciliations, cash forecasts, regulatory reports, audit documentation, and fluctuation analyses. Investigates billing discrepancies, reviews contracts, supports internal controls and process improvements, and collaborates with Commercial, Treasury, Legal, Accounting, and other teams. Requires strong analytical, communication, Excel, and problem-solving skills, with energy-market experience preferred.

Supports and enhances Commercial Risk applications and integrations, including Openlink, PowerOptix, cQuant, and custom systems. Responsibilities include production support, incident resolution, requirements gathering, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, testing, UAT, releases, documentation, SOX controls, and process improvement. The role serves as a liaison among business stakeholders, IT teams, developers, and vendors while supporting energy trading and risk management processes.

Manage company liquidity and counterparty credit risk by monitoring exposures, assessing creditworthiness, setting limits, managing collateral, modeling potential future exposure, overseeing guarantees and ISO credit requirements, reviewing credit agreements, maintaining ETRM data, and producing risk reports and analyses.
