Leads enterprise FP&A activities including financial modeling, forecasting, profitability analysis, capital planning, strategic initiative evaluation, executive reporting, and financial data infrastructure improvements. Partners with senior leadership, actuarial, treasury, investments, accounting, and corporate development teams across insurance entities. Presents actionable insights to executives, regulators, lenders, rating agencies, and investors while leading cross-functional projects and mentoring junior team members.

Supports Talcott’s Investment Management Team with portfolio analysis, investment data aggregation, credit-quality monitoring, risk assessment, investment opportunity evaluation, and reporting for senior management. The intern also assists with identifying emerging credit risks and underwriting and surveillance activities for private credit and private equity investments. This is a ten-week hybrid summer internship in New York, including training, workshops, networking, and exposure to senior leadership.

Leads enterprise projects across functional areas, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, stakeholders, governance, and executive reporting. Drives process improvements, change management, user adoption, operational readiness, and portfolio management discipline. Facilitates planning and decision forums, develops roadmaps and metrics, and partners with senior leaders to align priorities and deliver strategic initiatives in a matrixed financial services environment.
