Provides technical leadership for development and support of Group, Investment, and Retirement products on the Acurity platform. Responsibilities include shaping the technology roadmap, directing delivery teams, configuring and coding system changes and interfaces, conducting design and code reviews, managing risks and technical debt, embedding quality practices, supporting agile delivery, and mentoring engineers.

Provides expert technical guidance for Total and Permanent Disability claims, ensuring accurate, consistent, policy-aligned decisions. The role influences complex case outcomes, improves assessment standards, strengthens governance and regulatory compliance, and builds team capability through training and coaching. It also uses claims insights and emerging trends to improve processes, performance, and customer outcomes.

Provide second-line risk and compliance guidance for financial risk management across a life insurer. Enhance the Risk Appetite Statement and ICAAP framework, coordinate stress testing, advise financial risk projects, and build stakeholder partnerships that promote risk awareness, resilience, and responsible growth.
