Lead and execute cross-disciplinary engineering for humanoid lab robots as a player-coach: plan priorities with the CTO, run sprints and reviews, unblock teams, hire and grow engineers, and spend ~30–40% of time writing and shipping code across hardware, software, and ML systems.

Lead and build the Applications function to translate clinical/research lab workflows into validated, deployable robot capabilities. Own workflow validation, instrument onboarding, training data collection for ML, technical documentation, demos, customer technical leadership, and team hiring and development.

Deploy, maintain, and repair humanoid mobile lab robots. Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, build fixtures and cable harnesses, perform on-site installations and validations, document deployments, and report reliability insights to engineering.

Design, build, and iterate on mechatronic subsystems for a bimanual mobile manipulator. Work across mechanical, electrical, control, perception, and software stacks to integrate sensors, actuators, and real-time control; develop motion and force-control algorithms; validate robot skills in clinical lab environments; and collaborate with scientists to meet lab requirements.
