Teams at Tŝilhqot’in National Government

Supports early learning and child care services across Tsilhqot'in communities. Responsibilities include assisting with early learning initiatives, building relationships with ECE and Head Start staff, coordinating meetings and training, collecting program information, preparing reports and tracking projects, and promoting Tsilhqot'in language, culture, and traditional knowledge in early learning programs.

Leads community engagement and communications for Tŝilhqot'in Nidlin, building relationships across six communities, coordinating meetings and events, gathering feedback, developing plain-language materials, and overseeing social media, website content, newsletters, announcements, and promotional communications. Ensures messaging reflects Tŝilhqot'in culture, values, language, and identity while supporting leadership and staff with engagement activities.

Coordinates climate change events, workshops, webinars, surveys, community engagement, resource databases, project reports, timelines, and deliverables. Supports climate initiatives across Tŝilhqot'in communities, researches funding opportunities, assists with grant proposals, and maintains funding allocation reports. The role requires strong organization, communication, confidentiality, independent work, Microsoft Office proficiency, and cultural awareness. Travel and occasional physical tasks may be required.
