The Country Manager for Japan will define and execute sales plans, manage the sales process, develop client relationships, and track opportunities using CRM tools. Must have extensive experience in enterprise software sales and strong communication skills.

Lead design and development of scalable backend APIs and services integrating with cloud providers (focus on IBM Cloud). Influence architecture, guide managed-service capabilities, ensure API quality and resiliency, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, infra, and partner teams. Emphasizes IAM, SaaS operations, Kubernetes, and cloud integrations.

Design and implement core distributed backend systems and scalable microservices. Collaborate with product and design on feature specs, build event-driven architectures, ensure test coverage, support observability, operate on Kubernetes and cloud providers, and participate in on-call rotations to resolve production issues.
