Teams at Symons Fire Protection, Inc.

Develops strategic customer accounts and new business across production homebuilding and multifamily construction markets. The role manages sales pipelines, identifies projects, coordinates bids with estimating and operations, tracks market intelligence, and supports customer relationships from opportunity identification through project handoff. Regular travel throughout San Diego and Orange County is required for customer meetings, jobsite visits, and industry events.

Supports fire sprinkler projects through planning, CAD design, hydraulic calculations, estimating, code review, documentation, scheduling, and contractor coordination. Reviews construction documents, prepares drawings and cost estimates, maintains project records, communicates project updates, and helps ensure compliance with safety, quality, and fire protection standards. The role also supports standpipe and fire pump design and requires occasional construction-site visits.

Lead and manage the fire protection design department, overseeing budgets, software standards, QA/QC on high-risk projects, talent development, client and AHJ relations, and departmental profitability and KPIs.
