Build and maintain full-stack software applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Nest.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL. Design multi-part solutions, develop unit and end-to-end tests, collaborate with product, QA, and support teams, participate in code reviews, and apply emerging technologies and AI-centric development workflows.

The General Counsel will lead Sydecar’s legal and compliance function, advise the CEO and product leadership, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations. Responsibilities include securities and regulatory analysis, commercial agreement negotiation, product and fund-structure guidance, legal-team development, regulatory engagement, external inquiries, stakeholder education, and outside-counsel management. The role requires pragmatic risk assessment, strong communication, strategic judgment, and extensive in-house FinTech or venture-capital legal experience.

Leads a core product engineering team through technical strategy, architecture, execution, and delivery of business-critical initiatives. Partners with Product and Design to translate company goals into impactful software, guides technical decisions, maintains quality and scalability, and develops high-performing engineers and future leaders. The role requires hands-on technical depth, product intuition, cross-functional collaboration, and experience operating in startup or high-growth environments.
