Develop and maintain Linux software for UK traffic light controllers, including supporting tools in Python. Implement, document, test, and enhance applications using C++, Python, and potentially Go. Translate UK regulations and customer requirements into software changes, produce functional requirements, collaborate internationally, and work in an agile environment. The role also involves maintaining quality and security standards and improving development processes and tools.

Develop and maintain scalable C#/.NET backend microservices, RESTful and message-based interfaces, automated tests, and Kubernetes deployments. Optimize CI/CD pipelines, participate in Scrum ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and share technical expertise. The role requires experience with microservices, MongoDB or comparable NoSQL databases, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins-based CI/CD. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, with German language ability considered beneficial.

Leads the SWARCO ITS finance organization, overseeing strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, taxation, risk management, governance, audits, and capital allocation. Advises senior leadership with financial insights, develops finance teams, improves profitability and cash flow, and drives process automation, data quality, business intelligence transparency, ESG reporting, and digitalization across the finance function.
