The People Partner supports strategic HR projects, recruitment, onboarding, talent management, employee development, employment law advice, employee relations, HR administration, compliance, contracts, annual HR processes, and process improvement. The role partners with managers and the European People & Culture team, managing sensitive information and owning HR initiatives from planning through implementation.

Provide hands-on HR business partnering to UK operational leaders, advising on workforce planning, performance, employee relations, restructures, redeployment, and employment-law compliance. Lead complex disciplinary, grievance, absence, consultation, negotiation, and dispute-resolution matters in a unionised environment. Support organisational change, manage people-related risks, and build credibility with managers and stakeholders in a demanding operational setting.

Leads Svitzer’s global rewards and performance agenda, advising executives on compensation, incentives, benefits, mobility, governance, and performance management. The role defines global strategy and standards, adapts them to regional contexts, oversees end-to-end implementation, leads annual reward cycles and improvement initiatives, and manages a global team. It partners with regional and functional leaders to support fair, differentiated performance and reward decisions across sea- and shore-based employees.
