Travel to customer sites to perform preventative deep cleaning and restoration of sterile processing department equipment (sterilizers, washer-disinfectors, ultrasonics, sinks). Complete service documentation, maintain tools/inventory, follow safety and infection-prevention protocols. When in the lab, perform basic stainless-steel surgical instrument repairs, powder coating, polishing, laser marking, inspection, packaging, and shipping support. Position requires frequent overnight travel and professional interaction with hospital staff.

Serve as primary liaison between Surgical Instrument Service and healthcare facilities: build relationships, coordinate repairs/logistics, provide education, track repairs with SISCOMS, and identify account growth opportunities while maintaining credentialing and documentation.

Perform on-site repair, calibration, refurbishment, and maintenance of general and specialty medical instrumentation from a mobile unit. Maintain inventory, service logs, and customer documentation; interact professionally with hospital staff; follow SOPs and safety rules; participate in ongoing training and identify quality improvements.
