Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, product costing, cost variance analysis, and financial reporting. Lead month-end and year-end close activities, maintain standard costing systems, support FP&A forecasts and budgets, ensure GAAP compliance, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and collaborate with operations, supply chain, auditors, and leadership. Train and mentor accounting staff while improving profitability and operational performance.

Manage national customer accounts, develop strategic account plans, negotiate contracts, and drive profitable growth in energy and electrical markets. Identify and close new business, maintain sales forecasts, and build customer relationships. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver customer solutions. The role is primarily remote, with travel for customer engagement, trade shows, and internal meetings, plus regular visits to the Simcoe manufacturing facility.

Designs, programs, commissions, and supports automated fiber optic production equipment and processes. Responsibilities include Siemens PLC and controls programming, electrical schematic development, mechanical fixture design, equipment evaluation, troubleshooting, commissioning, documentation, parts procurement, and process improvement. The role collaborates across technical teams, supports project planning, and develops automation solutions that improve manufacturing quality, efficiency, and cost.
