Support launch and growth of a civic engagement product by using LLMs to prototype features, interpret legislative data, coordinate with data/design/engineering, build pages and prototypes, monitor usage and user feedback, and iterate quickly in a fast-paced startup environment focused on politics and civic engagement.

Support development and data engineering teams by implementing DevOps practices and cloud engineering best practices. Improve CI/CD pipelines, deploy and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC, containers, and configuration management. Automate build/test/release processes, analyze cloud environments for security, cost, and availability improvements, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on architecture and development tasks.

The intern will conduct research on Congressional datasets, explore integration of new data sources, support data quality efforts, and assist in cross-functional coordination of data-related tasks.
