Performs forward and return path sweeps, balancing, troubleshooting, and repairs on HFC/coaxial networks. Uses specialized test equipment to identify signal impairments, noise, ingress, and leakage; adjusts network equipment and conducts preventive maintenance. Reads network documentation, completes reports, coordinates with field teams, follows OSHA and company safety standards, operates vehicles, and supports on-call, overtime, and emergency restoration work.

Creates and maintains station markers on geographic blueprints for new project nodes, updates maps for route changes and completed production, matches map data with spreadsheets, verifies invoiced footage, prints segment maps for crews, and prepares as-built documentation for customers.

Splice, install, troubleshoot, and balance coaxial cable plant and CATV equipment for new builds and upgrades. Responsibilities include installing cable, devices, pedestals, vaults, and splice cases; reading CATV maps and blueprints; operating aerial lifts; completing documentation; maintaining company equipment; traveling frequently; and following safety procedures.
