Support design and development of mechanical jigs, fixtures, and tooling; perform DFM/DFA reviews; coordinate with vendors on prototyping and production readiness; document manufacturing processes, SOPs, and design reviews; run time-and-motion studies; optimize processes to improve efficiency and support production milestones with a 50/50 split between engineering and production work.

Own industrial design projects for a home robot from concept through production. Develop sketches, CAD models, renderings, physical prototypes, and CMF strategies while collaborating with engineering, vendors, and manufacturing partners. Participate in design reviews, refine details for manufacturability, evaluate 3D-printed prototypes, and help shape the product’s design language and user experience.

Industrial Design Intern will support the development of a home robot from concept through production. Responsibilities include sketching, CAD modeling, design refinement, design reviews, physical prototyping, 3D printing, CMF exploration, rendering, and collaboration with engineering, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
