Teams at Sunbelt Controls

Supports design engineers with building automation projects, engineering tools, control applications, project closeout documentation, graphics and hardware design modifications, commissioning activities, and checkout tracking. Participates in engineering development and OSHA 10 training while communicating with project teams and supporting quality deliverables.

Leads development, installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and turnover of complex building automation control systems. Develops databases, graphics, integrations, and network solutions; coordinates field teams and subcontractors; manages field budgets and schedules; supports design engineering, estimating, and pre-sales activities; conducts customer training; and mentors junior engineers. The role also documents as-built conditions, validates sequences of operation, ensures safety compliance, and serves as a technical subject matter expert.

Supports building automation system project startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, programming, graphics modification, hardware design, testing, and closeout documentation. Works with project managers and senior engineers across job sites and office settings, assists with network commissioning, tracks project tasks and budgets, submits work reports, and supports customer-focused project delivery. The role requires technical aptitude, organization, communication skills, safety training, and a valid California driver’s license.
