Leads Sun Life’s independent second-line technology resilience and recovery risk oversight capability. Establishes governance, standards, review processes, and challenge practices across disaster recovery, backup, cyber recovery, infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. Oversees recoverability evidence, testing, RTO/RPO alignment, risk acceptance, remediation, regulatory readiness, and Board reporting. Builds and manages a specialized resilience team while partnering with operational resilience, business continuity, cyber, technology, audit, and business risk stakeholders.

Designs, operates, and enhances enterprise cryptographic security platforms, including Venafi, ISG Crypto Vulnerability Scanner, and HashiCorp Vault. Builds automation and integrations, implements risk-driven controls, supports cloud and container security, and participates in incident response and 24/7 on-call rotations. The role leads security initiatives, audits, technology evaluations, project transitions, documentation, and collaboration with infrastructure, application, operations, vendors, and security teams.

Processes and updates group benefits contracts and employee handbooks, ensuring accurate and timely document creation. Interprets plan designs, recommends system setups, resolves escalated issues, responds to internal inquiries, and collaborates with service, implementation, and advisory teams. The role requires strong bilingual French-English communication, organization, problem-solving, negotiation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
