Review and evaluate contracted real property appraisals for compliance and completeness, verify data (deeds, ownership, taxes, zoning), perform field inspections of subjects and comparables, reconcile multiple appraisals, complete in-house appraisals and rental/market analyses, recommend or refer consultant appraisers, and present findings to the Environmental Trust Review Board.

Conduct Spanish-language interviews to determine financial eligibility for county social service programs, compute applicant budgets, advise applicants about benefits and documentation, perform re-determinations, recommend emergency grants, make referrals, and conduct field visits for verification as needed.

Defend Suffolk County, its agencies, employees, and officials in state-court civil tort and personal injury litigation. Manage complex cases, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare and present motions and trials, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Maintain strong judgment, organization, and advocacy skills.
