Leads the national statewide and regional transportation planning practice, including strategy, market growth, executive client relationships, major pursuits, service development, multidisciplinary team mobilization, financial performance, and technical oversight. The role advises state DOTs, MPOs, transit agencies, and regional authorities on long-range, multimodal, capital investment, performance-based, and strategic planning. It also drives thought leadership, partnerships, recruiting, mentoring, proposal development, and delivery quality.

Designs and manages traction electrification and power distribution systems for rail and transit projects from concept through construction administration. Responsibilities include electrical system modeling, load-flow analysis, substation and switchgear design, grounding and cable layouts, multidisciplinary BIM coordination, standards development, project budget monitoring, and technical collaboration across offices. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a PE license or 20+ years of experience, and extensive traction substation and power distribution experience.

Supports transportation construction engineering and inspection projects by reviewing contractor submissions, maintaining RFIs, submittals, reports, change orders, and testing records. Coordinates schedules, tracks construction progress, provides technical guidance to field inspection teams, and ensures compliance with contract documents, CTDOT standards, and regulatory requirements. Communicates with agencies, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders. The role requires construction documentation, CE&I, contract administration, Microsoft Office, and on-site coordination skills.
