Teams at Studio Museum in Harlem

Supports the Public Programs team within the Learning & Engagement Department through independent research, writing, program and partnership development, seasonal programming support, arts administration, operational coordination, and stakeholder communication. The intern will collaborate across museum departments, participate in workshops, and help produce accessible art-inspired experiences for adult audiences.

Supports the Communications Department with digital graphic design production, brand and visual identity maintenance, design file organization, and project coordination. The intern collaborates with senior and junior designers to create consistent assets across museum channels while learning design systems, brand management, and visual storytelling.

Supports the Director, Chief Curator, and Chief of Staff with strategic initiatives, institutional and artist research, internal correspondence, presentations, document updates, administrative tasks, and logistical coordination. The intern will develop familiarity with nonprofit organizational management and external affairs while participating in museum workshops and meetings. Strong research, writing, communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential. This is an in-person hybrid internship requiring 20 hours per week for 14 weeks.
