Teams at Studio Museum in Harlem

A paid youth arts program for high school or GED-equivalent students. Participants study photography and Black visual culture, engage with arts professionals, visit cultural institutions, develop photography skills, create individual projects, and curate a final exhibition. The program runs January through August 2027 at the Studio Museum in Harlem and includes field trips, a $1,000 participation stipend, and transportation support.

Coordinates accessible museum education programs for people with disabilities and diverse access needs. Responsibilities include developing interpretive materials, managing program logistics and budgets, researching accessibility practices, tracking outcomes, facilitating programs, building community partnerships, supporting marketing materials, and training staff. The role requires collaboration across Learning & Engagement, community organizations, visitors, and museum departments, with occasional evening and weekend work and local travel throughout New York City.

Supports fundraising, cultivation, and venue rental events from planning through post-event wrap-up. Responsibilities include coordinating vendors and stakeholders, managing guest lists and donor communications, tracking donations and expenses, preparing event materials, processing invoices, coordinating production logistics, supporting onsite registration, and reconciling attendance and revenue. Requires occasional evening, weekend, and early-morning work, plus physical assistance with event materials.
