Performs diagnostic ultrasound and vascular examinations, including venous reflux and arterial studies, using independent judgment to obtain and assess sonographic images. Screens patients, reviews requisitions, identifies normal and pathological findings, communicates technical results to physicians, maintains equipment and supplies, and follows professional, safety, and patient-centered care standards.

Maintains equipment, supplies, cleanliness, safety, and professional patient-centered standards. Requires RVT or RVS certification.

Supports daily outpatient clinic operations by greeting and registering patients, preparing charts, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, answering calls, collecting and reconciling payments, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating patient flow. Requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, medical terminology and insurance knowledge, EHR proficiency, and at least two years of front-office or receptionist experience in a physician’s office or hospital.
