Coordinates customer freight orders and shipment details, assigns loads to drivers, schedules pickups and deliveries, tracks shipments, resolves delivery and scheduling issues, and communicates with customers and internal teams. Performs extensive data entry, reporting, documentation review, payroll-related bill-of-lading verification, and proof-of-delivery research.

Oversees logistics activity and daily freight movements across a geographic market. Manages load and truck capacity, customer orders, outbound volume, service performance, contingency planning, rate negotiations, and operational reporting. Leads teams, supports customer and employee retention, monitors financial and freight metrics, and ensures compliance with transportation regulations.

Supervise and coach a fleet of long-haul drivers to reduce risk and ensure DOT/FMCSR compliance. Investigate accidents and violations, provide remedial coaching, set up drug and alcohol screenings, deliver policy and weather updates, and produce regular and ad-hoc safety reports.
