Teams at Step Forward

Develops and manages strategic communications, marketing content, newsletters, social media, website updates, media relations, and community outreach. Creates written, photographic, and video content; covers events at program locations; supports internal communications; analyzes surveys and social media metrics; and coordinates with vendors and consultants to advance organizational visibility, recruitment, advocacy, and engagement.

Oversee daily operations of a Head Start center and 7–9 classrooms; supervise and evaluate staff; ensure compliance with Head Start standards and Ohio childcare regulations; manage scheduling, recordkeeping, facility safety, family engagement, and staff training; participate in monitoring, reporting, and renovation/transition activities.

Performs accounts payable duties: review and verify invoices against purchase orders, maintain check registers and vendor records, process purchase orders and payments, resolve purchasing issues, and assist coworkers and supervisor with accounting tasks and reporting.
