Teams at Steinway & Sons

Manage institutional sales for Steinway & Sons across higher education, secondary schools, and houses of worship in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Responsibilities include developing long-term relationships, delivering presentations, assessing piano inventories, identifying sales opportunities, supporting fundraising, meeting sales goals, and representing the company at concerts and events. The role requires local travel, customer engagement, sales expertise, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Supports the Chief Accounting Officer with global financial close, divisional reporting, tax compliance and planning, US GAAP, pension and insurance reporting, transfer pricing, internal controls, impairment testing, audit coordination, management reporting, and special projects. The role collaborates extensively with global finance, leadership, HR, FP&A, and Legal teams while managing external tax consultants and auditors.

Supervise production team to meet schedules and quality standards; assign work, monitor workflow, maintain inventory and equipment, train staff, enforce safety and policies, analyze production data, and coordinate with leadership to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
