Administers arts grant programs, including reviewing applications, coordinating peer panels, managing grant and financial systems, preparing state and federal reports, maintaining records, and supporting arts constituents. The role may train and review staff, coordinate with agencies and community organizations, safeguard grant information, and ensure awards and notifications comply with Arts Council policies and government requirements.

Maintains and supports the department’s LAN, network infrastructure, servers, databases, email systems, Internet access, firewalls, backups, and user accounts. Installs and configures servers, troubleshoots network and access issues, manages security updates, documents hardware and IP utilization, supports limited desktop needs, advises on technology purchases, and monitors Oracle database operations and backups.

Manages and evaluates departmental service programs, supervises staff, analyzes operations, develops recommendations, ensures regulatory compliance, coordinates resources, supports budgeting, and performs public relations duties including news releases, speeches, and community outreach.
