Teams at State of Rhode Island

Leads department-wide staff development, training, continuous quality improvement, performance improvement, and community relations. Develops training programs, evaluates outcomes, manages CQI teams, analyzes organizational data, and oversees performance improvement plans. Serves as the primary Workday trainer and change management communicator, translating system and business process changes into effective end-user learning experiences. Supervises staff and partners with educational institutions and department leadership.

Coordinates and supervises statewide marine infrastructure planning, construction, maintenance, dredging, harbor and port management, submerged lands, marine energy, and navigation programs. Oversees regulatory compliance, engineering and geophysical studies, infrastructure records, environmental coordination, public and private projects, confined aquatic disposal cells, funding proposals, and policy development. Serves as the primary liaison with federal, state, local, and private organizations while supervising professional and technical staff.

Supports school budgeting, purchasing, payroll, grants, financial reporting, expenditure coding, journal entries, food program reimbursements, student activity funds, insurance, records retention, and travel expense administration. Supervises the school business office and supports compliance with state and federal financial requirements. Requires or eligibility for Rhode Island School Business Administrator certification and proficiency with office, email, document, grants, and ERP systems.
