Plans and coordinates material flow, inventory, supplier relationships, and logistics for manufacturing and distribution. Manages inventory accuracy, sources bulk materials, negotiates supplier pricing and terms, maintains vendor and lead-time data, supports forecasting, evaluates supplier performance, and helps mitigate supply chain risks. The specialist collaborates with purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics teams while serving as backup to the Supply Chain Manager.
