Summer manufacturing engineering internship providing hands-on experience with manufacturing technology and electrical engineering. Responsibilities include analyzing and improving engineering systems, production processes, product flow, assembly, and efficiency; collaborating with manufacturing, drafting, and design teams; and wiring, assembling, and operating complex equipment. The intern will manage multiple projects, solve practical manufacturing problems, and gain exposure to cross-functional operations.

Supports the Rogers Athletic sales team with phone coverage, customer service, sales outreach, bids, dealer orders, purchase orders, and general office tasks. The intern analyzes customer needs, recommends athletic equipment, communicates with internal teams, coordinates product complaints, supports demonstrations, and may assist with equipment deliveries and installations. The role is on-site and requires football knowledge, strong communication, basic math, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel, Outlook, CRM, and marketing tools.

Develops conceptual engineering solutions and technical proposals for event staging, telescopic equipment, and riser seating. Interprets RFQs, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements; creates preliminary layouts, configurations, and models; evaluates feasibility, loads, manufacturability, safety, and cost effectiveness; and prepares technical documentation and concept drawings. Collaborates with Sales, Applications Engineering, and Manufacturing, responds to technical questions, maintains proposal records, and improves proposal tools and processes.
