Clean bus interiors and exteriors, fuel buses, shunt/park buses, and perform premises cleaning. 39 hours/week on an evening shift rota; full training provided.

Maintain, diagnose, and repair HGV/PCV vehicles at the Barnstaple depot. Perform routine servicing, fault-finding, and component replacement across shifts. Ensure PPE and safety standards, assist with vehicle testing, and support depot engineering operations.

Four-year apprenticeship combining classroom learning and depot-based hands-on training in vehicle body and coachbuilding. Apprentices learn panel removal/refit, structural repairs, welding and bonding, painting preparation, F-Gas, diagnostic equipment use, and progress to specialist panel technician skills with mentor support and End Point Assessment preparation.
