Design and engineer AC and DC overhead catenary and traction power feeder systems for rail projects. Responsibilities include structural and catenary calculations, shop drawings, estimating, technical documentation, construction support, field troubleshooting, system integration, testing, commissioning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and owner representatives.

Designs and integrates railroad and transit vehicle movement systems for light rail projects. Defines system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and performance criteria for signaling, communications, and electrification systems. Performs braking, traction power, electrical, and system analyses; troubleshoots complex issues; reviews vendor submittals; supports testing, validation, design reviews, procurement, cutover planning, and field engineering. Produces technical documentation and collaborates with public agencies, utilities, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Supports communication systems engineering for transit and rail projects, including network and systems design, fiber backbone design, CCTV, emergency and VoIP telephones, access control, and SCADA systems. Responsibilities include creating bills of materials, RFIs, product selections, O&M manuals, training documentation, and participating in customer and internal meetings.
