Provides hospital safety and security for patients, visitors, caregivers, and property. Duties include secure patient transport, emergency response, threat assessment, de-escalation, dispatching, camera and alarm monitoring, parking enforcement, reporting, crowd control, wayfinding, and facility inspections. The officer may provide first aid or CPR within scope and functions as an unlicensed assistive care provider under nursing supervision.

The officer may provide first aid or CPR within scope, support nursing as an unlicensed assistive care provider, and maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational policies.

Performs diagnostic and interventional CT and general radiology exams, operates CT and C-arm equipment, prepares sterile/non-sterile procedure fields, documents patient care, provides on-call/holiday/weekend coverage, assists with student training and record maintenance, and follows safety and quality protocols.
