Supports customer integration, system bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for low-light CMOS cameras. Builds evaluation kits, writes Python scripts, creates test benches, recommends sensors and software based on customer needs, and produces technical documentation. Serves as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams while supporting product optimization. The role is onsite in Princeton, New Jersey, and may require up to 30% travel.

Design and develop CMOS/CCD image sensor pixels, architectures, layouts, and process integration schemes. Characterize imager chips, simulate advanced pixels, evaluate fabrication experiments, and collaborate with foundries and mixed-signal and digital design teams. Support technical proposals and customer activities for low-light, space-qualified, lidar, and commercial imaging products. The role is onsite in Princeton, New Jersey, requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and may involve up to 10% travel.

Designs and verifies mechanical parts, assemblies, and precision packaging for custom image sensor systems using SolidWorks and related simulation tools. Creates engineering documentation, product structures, ECOs, releases, and renderings; collaborates with electrical engineering, manufacturing, subject-matter experts, and program management. Supports proposals and reviews, interfaces with fabrication facilities, and performs hands-on cleanroom and laboratory work involving precision assemblies, epoxies, microscopes, and inspection equipment.
