Leads a full-stack engineering team while remaining hands-on with AWS infrastructure, cloud security, observability, reliability, and AI-first development practices. Owns AWS CDK architecture, serverless scalability, internal tooling, engineering standards, and product development using TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, React, and related technologies. Manages engineers, partners with product and Salesforce teams, coordinates distributed development, and supports hiring and team growth.

Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack software for a fintech and proptech platform. Build scalable Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript back-end systems, APIs, PostgreSQL databases, serverless AWS applications, and infrastructure-as-code deployments. Integrate AI technologies and modern React applications while participating in the full software development lifecycle. Collaborate with product and QA teams to gather requirements, test solutions, resolve issues, and deliver reliable software in a fast-paced startup environment.

Manages a loan processing team responsible for homeowner equity applications. Oversees hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, workload allocation, pipeline execution, policies, escalations, quality audits, and team development. Leads cross-functional projects, analyzes performance data, communicates departmental goals, and ensures a positive, high-performing team culture. The role is remote initially and transitions to a hybrid schedule in San Diego beginning January 2027.
