Maintain and improve AWS-based Kubernetes infrastructure, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform modules, and Helm deployments for a satellite communications platform. The role focuses on cloud reliability, security, observability, IAM, troubleshooting, automation, and operational support across distributed engineering teams.

Lead full-stack development for secure, scalable mission planning and command-and-control software supporting space communications programs. Build frontend interfaces and backend services, design APIs, translate mockups into applications, conduct code reviews, improve quality and security, and mentor junior engineers. Work with modern web frameworks, containerized microservices, and highly secure government environments while owning technical problems end to end.

Manage end-to-end infrastructure deployments: receive and validate enterprise hardware, commission bare-metal servers, configure virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM), storage (SAN/NAS), and networking (VLANs), collaborate with vendors and engineering teams, perform hardware acceptance testing, document standards, and transition production-ready environments to DevOps while maintaining security and multi-site consistency.
