Administer and optimize on-premises and cloud database platforms, primarily Microsoft SQL Server and Azure services. Manage high availability, disaster recovery, backups, migrations, monitoring, automation, security, governance, and performance tuning. Support PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, containerized environments, and database deployment automation. Produce technical documentation and reporting, collaborate with engineering teams, and lead investigations into complex database incidents.

Manages configuration processes, CMDB records, baselines, change control, audits, status reporting, bills of materials, rack elevations, port documentation, and cabling diagrams. The role verifies configuration data, maintains historical records, supports project handovers, and coordinates with PMO teams, technical leads, suppliers, and agency stakeholders. It requires configuration management expertise, strong Excel skills, infrastructure knowledge, attention to detail, and a valid NATO or national Secret clearance.

Provides administrative and coordination support to project boards, teams, managers, and review meetings. Manages resourcing activities, budgets, training requests and funding, project execution monitoring, and monthly and quarterly reporting. Analyzes budget and project variances, develops and maintains Power BI dashboards, and manages SharePoint content. The role is based on-site in Brussels and may require travel to other NATO locations.
