Integrate and evaluate security technologies, ensure regulatory compliance, research new security solutions, and support Security Officers and IT teams in protecting agency information systems.

Define and implement security configurations and architecture, perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and source code reviews, conduct technical security audits and log analysis, manage security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, IAM, PKI, DLP), perform forensic analysis, threat hunting, incident response, and develop technical security standards and procedures.

Support Information Security Officers in ISMS and business continuity management: perform risk assessments, develop ISMS procedures, security controls, policies, audits, gap assessments, security and disaster recovery plans, and assist formal accreditation for systems handling EU sensitive and classified information.
