Build and maintain the backend, website, and self-serve portal for Speechmatics. Develop production-ready components, manage Vercel deployments and infrastructure, implement UI changes, write Python queries, improve funnel conversion, and optimize performance and reliability. Collaborate asynchronously with product, design, and data teams in a product-led SaaS environment.

Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models for speech recognition, including large self-supervised and transformer-based systems. Lead complex R&D projects, apply distributed training and inference optimization techniques, collaborate across departments, stay current with ML developments, and mentor team members. The role combines cutting-edge research with production model serving and software engineering best practices.
