Develops, optimizes, documents, and sustains SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes. Supports NPI, DFM/DFA, equipment optimization, troubleshooting, process validation, root-cause analysis, yield improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. Provides hands-on production support, improves quality and throughput, establishes process parameters and work instructions, and collaborates with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams.

Supervise the manufacturing engineering services team supporting configuration management, BOMs, technical documentation, engineering changes, component analysis, and production issue resolution. Ensure manufacturing information is accurate and current while coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and customers. Lead personnel development, prioritize technical workloads, support manufacturing readiness and product lifecycle activities, and improve processes involving electronics manufacturing, component compliance, obsolescence, and production continuity.

Supports basic surface-mount technology production by setting up feeders, loading boards and materials, operating solder paste printing equipment, assisting with SPI setup, inspecting boards, and maintaining organized workstations. Follows detailed work instructions, ESD controls, safety protocols, and quality requirements while working under close supervision. The role requires standing for extended periods, handling small components, and lifting materials up to 25 pounds.
