Leads finance and accounting for a manufacturing plant, including financial planning, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial close, reporting, internal controls, audits, and compliance with US GAAP and Mexican statutory requirements. Oversees IMMEX/maquiladora accounting, customs-related controls, VAT certification, transfer pricing, working capital, capital investment analysis, and development of the plant finance team.

Lead and develop a US and offshore accounting team to deliver accurate monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany and payroll accounting, SOX compliance, SAP-based journal entries and analyses, continuous process improvements, and support audits and statutory reporting under IFRS.

Manage daily payroll and time administration for multi-state union and non-union hourly employees. Responsibilities include reviewing time records, processing payroll, reconciling reports, handling garnishments, coding hours to cost centers, maintaining time-off records, resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with pay rules and prevailing wage regulations, and supporting employees and managers.
