Own Sparkfund’s electric cooperative market strategy, positioning, executive relationships, and qualified opportunity pipeline. Build relationships with cooperative executives, boards, associations, and industry leaders; represent the company externally; advise leadership on market dynamics and resource allocation; and coordinate cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into Distributed Capacity Procurement programs. The role requires extensive utility-sector experience, an established electric cooperative network, strategic judgment, and frequent travel of approximately 40% or more.

Build, audit, and maintain programmatic and bespoke financial models for pricing Distributed Capacity Procurement deals. Validate cost, revenue, timing, and financing assumptions with cross-functional teams, identify discrepancies, and translate model outputs into actionable deal terms. The role requires strong Excel modeling, project finance knowledge, attention to detail, and clear communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
