The Senior Accountant manages reconciliations, journal entries, payment-platform activity, fixed assets, tax and audit preparation, payroll accounting, and departmental financial records. The role leads month-end and year-end close, investigates discrepancies, supports financial reporting, and improves accounting processes. It requires strong GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, confidentiality, and collaboration with school leadership and departments.

Processes accounts payable transactions, payment runs, deposits, invoices, journal entries, expense reports, and general ledger reconciliations. Maintains accurate financial records, distributes reports, supports vendor setup and issue resolution, and assists families with tuition and financial aid questions. The role also provides administrative support to the Business Office while handling confidential financial information with accuracy, discretion, and strong customer service.
