Supports physics and physical science laboratory operations by preparing experiments and materials, assisting instructors, maintaining equipment and inventory, managing waste, enforcing EPA, OSHA, and GHS safety requirements, conducting routine repairs, researching experiments, and training staff and students. The role also supervises part-time staff, supports special events, maintains records, and travels among college and high school locations as needed, including evening and weekend work.

Maintains a college-wide surveillance camera system of approximately 1,000 cameras, including cameras, network switches, servers, licenses, and related databases. Installs, repairs, updates, replaces, and evaluates surveillance equipment; recommends upgrades; identifies installation locations; and assists with security projects and contractors. Travels across the college district, supports campus security needs, and serves as a Campus Security Authority. Work may involve rotating shifts, ladders, rooftops, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Manage complex leave cases (FMLA, ADA, short/long-term and military leave), determine eligibility, ensure legal compliance, coordinate accommodations, prepare payroll documentation, provide vendor documentation, develop and deliver training, maintain policies, support benefits enrollment and campus events, and travel across campuses as needed.
