Manages Camp Burgess & Hayward’s school-group rental and outdoor education program, including bookings, curriculum, activities, budgets, facilities, and participant experiences. Recruits, trains, and supervises seasonal educators; builds relationships with schools and community partners; coordinates food service and facilities; supports marketing, fundraising, and broader camp operations. The role requires leading experiential education programs for students ages 10–18 in outdoor and sometimes challenging weather conditions.

Leads the YMCA’s year-round aquatics department, overseeing multiple pools, facilities, programs, budgets, staffing, safety, scheduling, compliance, and member experience. Recruits, develops, and manages full-time and part-time aquatics staff; coordinates with branch, facilities, camp, membership, and Red Cross teams; ensures water quality, emergency preparedness, certifications, and operational readiness. The role also drives program growth, financial performance, community engagement, and continuous department development while providing occasional direct coverage.

Supervise tennis court activities, provide safe and effective instruction, assist with clinic and lesson transitions, enforce tennis and YMCA policies, respond to and document incidents, maintain an organized facility, engage members, support volunteers, and collaborate with tennis staff. The role also requires participation in meetings, training, emergency preparedness, and child protection procedures.

Leads group exercise programming across all South Shore YMCA branches, including scheduling, instructor recruitment and development, digital fitness offerings, safety, budgeting, and operational standards. Uses participation data, member feedback, and app analytics to improve engagement, retention, and class quality. Partners with branch leaders, Membership, Marketing, Personal Training, and Playroom teams to coordinate programming, launch schedules, and deliver a consistent, inclusive member experience.

Teach and supervise tennis lessons and clinics for all ages and skill levels, plan sessions, enforce safety and YMCA policies, engage members, support staff and volunteers, maintain courts, and participate in community and fundraising events. Must be available evenings and weekends.

Supervise and run SkyTrail activities, enforce safety and YMCA/RCI policies, respond to incidents, maintain equipment and facility cleanliness, engage members, support volunteers, attend trainings and staff meetings.

Supervise and implement before- and after-school program curriculum, provide homework help, ensure safety and EEC licensing compliance, engage families and volunteers, support staff development, maintain facilities, and deliver nurturing, developmentally appropriate activities for school-age children.

Assist Group Leaders and Site Coordinators in planning and running high-quality before/afterschool programs. Support compliance with EEC, QRIS, CACFP, and ADA, supervise children, engage families and volunteers, maintain safe facilities, promote YMCA values, and meet EEC professional development requirements.

Lead environmental education and teambuilding programs for school groups, facilitate low/high ropes, rock wall, waterfront activities, provide customer service, and support housekeeping, grounds, dining, and residential operations during the fall season.

Supervise and assist sports and recreation programs, ensure participant safety, engage members, provide positive customer service, maintain facility and equipment, support staff development, and uphold YMCA policies including child protection.
