Provides as-needed support in Head Start classrooms, kitchens, and center operations. Assists with early childhood learning, lesson plans, special-needs accommodations, meal preparation, sanitation, custodial duties, records, family communication, and health and safety compliance. Supports children and families while following Head Start standards, state licensing rules, CACFP requirements, and agency policies. May travel within the assigned area and perform physically demanding duties, including lifting up to 60 pounds.

Provides as-needed substitute support in Head Start classrooms, kitchens, custodial services, and clerical tasks. Responsibilities include supervising children, following early childhood development and Head Start standards, preparing and serving meals, accommodating special diets, maintaining sanitation, completing records, supporting children with special needs, communicating with families, and assisting with recruitment and center operations. The role requires flexibility, extensive travel within the assigned area, physical activity, and participation in required training.
