Leads statewide SBIR/STTR outreach, education, and pipeline development for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Coordinates SBDC, university, government, and economic development partners; manages events, webinars, communications, social media, and educational resources. Maintains client engagement records, prepares federal performance reports, supports compliance, and contributes to program improvement and annual reviews.

Leads investment evaluation, due diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, and investment recommendations for early-stage technology companies. Advises portfolio and client companies on capitalization and fundraising, manages investor and co-investment relationships, monitors portfolio performance, prepares Board materials, and represents the organization across the innovation ecosystem. Provides leadership, mentoring, investor education, and supports mission-oriented investment and economic development objectives.

Coordinates SCRA activities for the Carolinas Grid Modernization Engine, managing projects, timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communication, reporting, CRM records, performance metrics, risks, compliance, and NSF oversight activities. The role supports partner meetings, working groups, technology demonstrations, investor events, outreach, dashboards, executive briefings, and federally funded program administration across academic, industry, government, and nonprofit stakeholders.
