Acquire, edit, and manage an adult romance author list from submission through publication. Evaluate manuscripts, recommend acquisitions, develop content and market positioning, negotiate with authors and agents, monitor romance trends, and collaborate with marketing, publicity, sales, and design. Maintain schedules, relationships, launch materials, and administrative workflows while supporting senior editors and ensuring projects remain on track.

Provides frontline IT support in a mixed Windows and macOS environment, resolving technical issues, managing tickets, documenting solutions, supporting webinars and meetings, onboarding users, delivering training, and maintaining knowledge-base content. The role also contributes to IT projects and process improvements while working onsite five days per week during an approximately two-month temporary assignment.

Supports day-to-day HR operations across a 20-state workforce, including employee relations, investigations, compliance administration, employment law tracking, reporting, compensation reviews, organizational development, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS data integrity, and HR communications. Partners with the Sr. Director of HR on organizational structure, compensation cycles, and process improvement while maintaining compliance with federal and state employment requirements.
