Responsibilities include treating speech and language disorders, following comprehensive treatment plans, documenting visits within 24 hours, maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, and communicating progress with families, case managers, day program staff, and supervisors. The role is part-time W2, with potential to become full-time, and requires working outside a traditional clinic setting.

Provides speech-language evaluations, individualized therapy, goal setting, documentation, and supervision of SLP assistants for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services are delivered in clients’ homes and through teletherapy. The role requires family and case-manager communication, timely paperwork, confidentiality under HIPAA, adaptability, teamwork, and a valid Texas SLP license with ASHA-approved certification.
