As a Staff Software Engineer at SoundHound AI, you will design and implement scalable front-end systems for voice AI applications, collaborating with various teams to enhance user experience and operational excellence.

Lead design and development of scalable Java microservices for conversational AI. Architect backend APIs, optimize distributed systems, integrate LLMs/NLP, implement real-time messaging, database tuning, cloud/container deployments, CI/CD improvements, security practices, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across product and operations teams.

Act as the technical lead for automotive partners to integrate SoundHound's Voice AI and NLU, troubleshoot and escalate issues, translate partner requirements into technical specs, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project plans and timelines, and contribute to platform improvements and documentation.
