Entry-level systems engineer supporting transit capital projects and operations under senior supervision. Duties include site investigations, drawings and specifications, calculations, contract submittal review, design support, testing and commissioning, cost and schedule development, and cross-agency coordination. Initial focus on fire life-safety systems and sustainability efforts.

Serve as product owner and content manager for Sound Transit’s external websites and email platform. Use analytics and user research to prioritize and implement UX, SEO, and content improvements. Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders, manage backlog and digital projects, produce reporting, and support digital marketing campaigns while ensuring accessibility and adherence to agency policies.

Administer post-award A&E and construction contracts: review costs and invoices, process change orders, ensure compliance with federal/state laws and FTA rules, support contract closeouts, assist project teams and negotiations, prepare reports, and contribute to process improvement and division support.
