Teams at Solar Turbines

Develops, validates, and improves nondestructive examination processes for compressor components, welds, castings, forgings, and brazed parts. Partners with suppliers and Supply Chain, establishes inspection methods and acceptance criteria, reviews engineering drawings and supplier results, evaluates nonconforming parts, and drives corrective actions. Requires extensive NDE experience across ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing, plus knowledge of relevant standards, materials, defects, and failure mechanisms.

Owns Solar Turbines product lines and supports engine assembly, disassembly, testing, tooling, and manufacturing work instructions. Analyzes production data, establishes time standards, improves safety, quality, cost, velocity, and manufacturability, and implements new processes and equipment. Develops tooling concepts, coordinates with design teams, resolves technical issues, and communicates with U.S. engineering departments.

Design, develop, and modernize desktop and web software tools using .NET, databases, and front-end frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, create technical designs and project plans, implement secure performant solutions, and mentor team members while supporting digital transformation and legacy tool upgrades.
