Design, build, and operate scalable backend services, data pipelines, APIs, and internal dashboards using Python and SQL. Manage data ingestion, automation, observability, testing, security, and production reliability across cloud-based distributed systems. Collaborate with product, analytics, and operations teams on architecture and technical direction. Contribute approximately 30% to server-rendered front-end development using HTML, HTMX, Jinja, and Python.

Designs and develops backend microservices for an e-commerce platform using clean architecture and event-driven communication. Responsibilities include API design, data modeling, authentication, automated testing, CI/CD, cloud deployment, code review, mentorship, and cross-service collaboration. The role requires experience with statically typed languages, microservices, databases, message queues, agile development, and production-quality software engineering practices.
